Let’s go fly a kite!

It’s Easter in Bermuda and we have had a fun week of festivities!  Sunday, March 28th, we went to a local school for a MAMA event that included Easter egg hunts, spoon and egg races, crafts and play.  Both girls had a great time and Summer got more eggs than Skye in the hunt!  Skye then had her Easter party at school and we (rather I) managed to come up with another Easter hat that worked pretty well considering my artistic abilities. Finally, on Good Friday we went to Horseshoe Beach with our good friend Linda to fly kites.  It was a beautiful morning and both girls got wet in the sea even though it’s a bit too cold for swimming. We were enjoying a nice picnic lunch when the rain set in and we headed home for baths and naps!  Later in the day, the sun was back out and we headed to our local playground for more kite flying and play.  All in all it has been a great week.  Summer is running all over the place and the girls are starting to play well together.  Looking forward to some nicer weather settling in after or wet and cold winter!
